Model 1 is adjusted for adjusted for age, study site, sex, fasting lipid level (if applicable), epigenetic age acceleration estimate squared (i.e., a quadratic polynomial), current smoking status, current drinking status, and a random effect of family relationship. Model 2 adds estimated T cell type percentages to model 1. Since the models include a quadratic term, the effect of a one unit change in x on y is not constant
