Genes implicated in histone acetylation are differentially expressed in the placenta at E18.5. We assessed the expression level of 60 epigenetic machinery genes using TaqMan low-density arrays. The expression of Kat1 (a), Kat3a (b), Kat3b (c), Kat13b (e), Hdac2 (f), Hdac3 (g), Hdac10 (h), Sirt4 (i), and Brd2 (j) was affected by maternal obesity and weight loss in the labyrinth.
